  1. I like your recipe better than the one that I have. The only recommendation that I have is to grate your parmesan cheese before you start cooking. That way, everything is ready to go when you start.

  2. I’m definitely going to make this dish. I didn’t realize how easy it was. Thanks ???? Carla from Kentucky

  3. Food looks great, but why does the video have such a heavy red overtone in the color grading?

  4. This looks awesome. Do you ever give your chicken a "haircut"? I remove the hard white tendon from chicken breasts and tenders. It ruins the meal for me if I bite into something hard in a delicious chicken breast.

  5. John, I do appreciate very much so your videos and recipes. I don't cook much these days due to health reasons but I enjoy your videos and your way of teaching us how to cook. Your way of taking us through the story behind a recipe is not only interesting but also makes up for a great conversation starter when in the kitchen with friends or family. You are a great host, thank you for inviting us into your kitchen.

  6. That looks so good. I love Chicken Alfredo but was certain it would be too complicated for average cooks like me. It's great to see that it's fairly simple to make. I can't wait to try this.

By the way, thanks for your consistent demonstrations of hand hygiene, and not just when you've handled raw meat. I'm constantly shocked by people the number of people – some of whom are supposedly professional cooks – who not only never seem to wash their hands when doing cooking demonstrations, but who also have been known to pet the dog and play with their hair while cooking!

Watching them, I feel grossed out just like Jerry in that Seinfeld episode where he refused to eat the food of the chef who never washed his hands after going to the restroom.

But I'd eat your food any day.
    ????

  7. My grandmother was Calabrian, my grandfather was Tuscan. He died long before I was born so I never had any Tuscan influence in my life Hence I don’t have any experience with northern Italian cooking This seems to be a much better way of making Fettuccini Alfredo than any other recipes I’ve made. I could almost smell and taste it as you were making it. This video is being saved so I can give it a “twirl! (Not sorry for the pun). ????. Thank you, Preppy John! Dinner, Italian food, and a love story! A nice crisp dry white wine and it becomes perfection!! ❤

  8. Uh oh, Cream in an Italian dish 😛
    Looks very good and smooth.
You don't flour the chicken first?

  9. Yes! This is my favorite pasta.???????????????????? I love to put a ton of cheese in everything with spinach or broccoli. I never made it before my mom buy the frozen dinner trays, but I would try to make this.????????????????????

  10. Don’t flip your chicken with a fork. The amount of times these poor chicken breast were stabbed.

  11. I would have to strain the garlic out before I continued cooking. I like the flavor but not the bite at all. But I will try this.

  12. Welllll! Time to go to the store Need to Make this Pronto , Nice comfort meal. I love When you take us to school about recipe inventions and who created them Thank You John.
