  1. My husband's grandma gave me that recipe about 30 years ago, but she called them "Church Potatoes". We have called them "Cheesy Poofs" for the last 25 years. I suggest adding a half of a bag of frozen peas and some chopped leftover ham before baking. It's one of our favorite easy meals.

  8. Love this casserole, I make mine very similar, but put French’s Fried Onions on top ????

  9. If you don’t want your eyes to water when cutting onions, run the cutting board and onion under cold water first. No more tears.

  14. They are also called funeral potatoes because they are so easy to make and bring to a funeral. My family just calls it cheesey potatoes and have them at easter time

  15. I was super hopeful that this recipe coming from you did not have a can of cream of chicken soup in it, but used homemade cream of or something else. So I was disappointed when u popped the can open. Still delicious though. We make this quite often.
