  1. Relief valve discharge pipe has to be within 6 in of the floor not the bucket

  2. OK an expansion tank is only necessary if you don't have a pressure tank! Aka if you have city water

  3. Was wondering 2 of sinks wasn’t working after installing water heater. After watching many other videos with no luck and watched this one and turns out I just had to remove the aviator to clean it out! Thanks! 🙏🏽

  4. Who's the marketing genius that picked your music? Your repetitive music looped in the background is horrible.

  5. Regarding the hoses, if they just go straight up to connect to the above cross pipes, then what you have is a convection flow of hot water up the hose, along one edge, and a downward flow of room temp or cool water back into the tank.
I always buy a hose that is double the length shown, in the video, and I make a loop or S bend in the hose. Why?
Think of a lake or swimming pool. Warm water rises, and cold water sinks. By creating that S loop or full circle loop, the hot water from the tank rises to the top of the S peak, but will not propagate down. The S loop is effective to stop convection currents and to not use the hot water tank exhaust connection from heating the house. The extra length hose cost is recovered in the first year from installation.

  6. Where is the real install when the home owner decided to box the heater in a wooden dungeon filled with spiders and roaches

  7. My 50 gal Rheem seems to have taken 6 mins to fill. All hot water faucets are full flowing. If I lift the pressure valve on tank water comes out instead of air. Everything indicates the water tank is full but the 6 minutes. Filling a 5 gallon can off sink took 3.5mins. So you'd think water tank would take around 40 mins. Half afraid to plug it in!

  8. You should always keep the water on and drain the tank for about 10 minutes to remove as much sediment as possible from the tank. Turn the water off after that time and let the tank continue to drain.

  9. How much normally cost of the installation of the water heater? Thanks
