So how much damage does having a short or loose connection like this do on the rest of the electrical circuit? I feel like that's why so many load machines have problems

  2. @Vegetableman2124

Elevator mechanics are not allowed to work on anything up stream up the controller, including disconnects and breakers.

Looks like the place suffers from deferred maintenance? Looks like the they got the right guys on it now?

  4. @addii578

Tighten that lug Bo. "Call the elevator company because if i touch it, i own it"

    Good lord jandice.

I recall many yrs ago at my old job, the hydraulic fright elevator stopped working our system had the primary disconnect in the electrical room (as in the video) and a secondary one in the machine room. My boss called for repairs, however it was not an elevator tech but a tech for a motor repair co, he checked it out, determined the contacts in the motor starter had failed. It was replaced, further mentioned the sec. disconnect was outdated, an electrician was called to replace the disconnect. However the elevator tech was furious, about the starter being replaced. As it was elevator equipment, their responsibility It's how I learned where the demarcation point was between the electrical and elevator equipment.

Question for you guys. If someone’s audio video recover turning on causes HDMI to flicker. Floor fans as well. What could he the cause of that. ?

  7. @LawFarin

After seeing that I wouldn’t want that elevator company anywhere near my elevator 😂

first thing i noticed was that brand new fuse on phase B. also, what is that white tape on phase C supposed to mean?

  9. @frank2177

I like how the middle leg that gets the hottest has the newest fuse. Like they didn't actually fix the problem they just swapped out the fuse and hope that worked. Haha

Love your videos! Big difference between real electricians and "installers". i know alot of "electricians" who have no idea how to use a multimeter other than to check voltage. Thats why I love working service. Gotta think and learn everyday. Stay safe bro!

  11. @flightTime123

It’s a disconnect and you’re an electrician, why couldn’t you work on it 😂

Elevator company?! Why the elevator company working on the electrical brah. You gotta get that work
