Encounter with a Swamp Monster

#spooky #diorama #resin
This week, I made a scary swamp diorama and added Skunk Apes to the monster list of the Wild Imaginary West.

I made the base model for my Skunk Ape on Hero Forge. https://www.heroforge.com

  1. You should use the feet to act as trophies on a hunters wagon or marketplace bounty stall.

  2. A cool build that would go with all your other trains is a monster in a boxcar in a rail yard

  3. Awesome series, I am loving every second of it!! Maybe you could use the extra feet for tracks that hunters are tracking and or could have them sticking out of a blanket or something on a wagon as if the hunters already caught one( just as a small detail maybe). Looking forward to seeing the next episode!

  4. i’d like to see something related to trains. in the old west lore the railroad constructions and trains are a must. would you think about it?

  5. Hay man I still think you need a farmhouse and barn maybe a windmill

  6. 100% agree with Gabriel Henning's suggestion of some small pack hunters & vote chupacabra! Our local lore here in the southwest is that they're small quadruped cryptids with long blood sucking tongues, glowing eyes, huge incisors, and spikes along their spines. Unfortunately smartphones killed that cryptid when we realized folks were just misidentifying coyotes inflicted with mange. The "spikes" were just the tufts of hair on their back they couldn't get at. I can easily imagine though if you came across that in your chicken coop at night with only the light of a lantern those eyes & teeth would standout from the furless body and look larger than they are while those remaining tufts along the spine would definitely to break up the silhouette from a regular coyote. I can't think of a more fitting small pack hunter to add to the wild imaginary west than the longtime cryptid that terrorized the real wild west. Alternatively, a more whimsical piece could be a person up a tree surrounded by blood thirsty jackelopes.

  7. This looks fantastic as always ^^
Any thoughts on trying a bunyip perhaps? To keep the skunk ape from getting lonely 😛

  8. Looks very good again. Love those greenish specs and how they move with the skunk ape. I do feel the skunk ape could do with a bit of (semi) gloss for where is was wet. He is quite matt at the moment. Can't wait to see the next one.

  9. Mothman. Definitely need Mothman in this universe. Maybe a group of monster hunters roaming through the birch woods pulling a carriage that is essentially a giant bug zapper armed with a mix of zappy cattle prods and rifles looking for elusive mothmen.

  10. I'm wondering if you would be able to add the Arachnids from starship troopers in one of your builds?
