Every 8 Minutes… 3 HOME COOKS Swap Kitchens | Sorted Food

We’re back with another Kitchen Rotation. The normals must collectively create a delicious 3-course meal. Each in one of 3 kitchens, 8 minutes in each and then they ROTATE and pick up where the last person left off! Will their disjointed efforts result in a harmonious three-course masterpiece, or a disastrous feast of chaos?

Our 2 Day Live Streamed Extravaganza is back for Summer 2025.

Across an entire live-streamed weekend, they’ll undertake a Food Rehabilitation Programme of challenges designed to atone or further condemn them for their past misdemeanours!

  1. Suggestion for a twist on this format: each participant has a different ingredient they have to add during their period, and it's a secret to the others until the end.
These usually get the ingredient used early, then maybe added again later for safety, but the trickiness is handled quick; this would keep the difficulty up throughout. Plus, some things are easy to start with but hard to add later on in a dish or visa versa. Plus if another cook throws out all of the use of an ingredient that would be a fail, so people would be afraid to throw out bad ideas adding even more stress.
I can imagine a case of Kush tossing something bad and guessing what ingredient in it was the prior's required and trying to just use it a different way–whether he guessed right or wrong, either way would be grand at the end.

  2. I have made many sauces and glazes with Guiness, you have to offset it with a LOT of sugar. I don't make it often for that reason, but it is addictingly good.

  3. I think mike needs a 1 on 1 with kush because jamie and barry far out did him this episode.

  4. Id like to see this with the 3 Chefs at some point. I always love when they do vids with the normals then as the chefs.

  5. Love how Mike has made a deep fried turd for both main courses in this series that he has been a part of now haha

  6. This one was amazing guys, and no chefs involved, the dessert was always going to be amazing since the first idea, but I think it was passed on beautifully.

The cheese Guinness soup I think would end up better than the burnt bread, but even that seems like it was a good shout.

    Amazing work from the normals.

  7. it's a better version of pass it on (or at least as good)
