  1. Sad to say that I can’t download the page at your site. Good information! I so appreciate you, Dr Becky!

  2. In light of recent rises in food costs here in the UK, intermittent fasting will save money. .And improve our health.

  3. Such great video with so much information thankyou Dr Becky?.. I didnt realise how many unseen benefits it has to our bodies!! I have just gome back to keto .. on day 2 of your 40 days I've committed to.. have thick headache as the withdrawal begins .. . But oddly I am not hungry as soon as I switch from sugar to good fats.. but I'm easily distracted by sweeties and cake .. listening to your videos shows me how much damage I'm doing eating so do much sugar.. xx I'm looking at your videos for strength every time I am struggling x

  4. I appreciate your videos so much. I had been doing a 16 hours fast with no problems. Recently I extended it to a 60 hour fast, and honestly I felt terrible. I was producing very large amounts of ketones, but the way I felt to me was not worth it, so I am back to two meals a day.

  5. Hello Dr. Becky should fasting be different for men and women? and if so how should it be done?

  6. Love your explanation. I did 1.5 days without my stomach shrank ,could not eat as much . I'm getting ready to do again.

  7. Dr. Becky, what is the recommended number of hours I should fast at once and how many times week should I do it?

  8. I believe that going for extended periods without eating may have led to my developing painful inflammation in one of my salivary glands. That, coupled with use of anti-allergy medication to help me sleep (which also causes severe dry mouth), has resulted in backed up saliva causing these symptoms.

  9. If I have tea with ginseng in the morning, does it start to counter act the beneficial effects of not eating during the night? Or, to put it another way, would it be better to hold off on the tea to continue the temporary fast?
