  1. End result is very nice and seems like an original design. Very interesting visually with the surfaces redwood combined with the burned wood.

  2. More!!! Really is one of the best looking tables! The contras between the redwood and burnt wood looks beautiful! How do we bud on it?

  3. More, definitely. The contrast of the finished product is really cool, especially with the live edge also being burnt.

With rotted wood sections like that, it might be worth doing a small pour of the penetrating epoxy mix and watching it for leaks before going in with the loads of deep pour epoxy. It'd add time to the project, sure, but it might be worth the savings in epoxy costs and headaches.

  4. I wonder If you put those drop clothes through the wash, would they drop less lint?

  5. You need to be very careful with that mammoth tusk. They do not like quick temp changes or quick humidity changes. I know someone that preps tusks, and I've prepped molars and bone, so if you don't already have someone to ask questions I can hook you up.

  6. I personally like the design, but I would love it if there was live wood on the outside of the dip all the way around, yk?

  7. I work at a hospital doing maintenance, and I put up ICRA barriers when I do any major projects. They are a lot like what you put up in this videoto spray. Next time try plastic and tape off every seem except your door at the bottom. home depot sells zipper doors that sticks to plastic sold in the plastic area that work amazing for this and just keep the bottom of that door untapped for air movement and put your filtration system close to that door. That will help keep the dust from flying around because the air is moving from the door to the filter and not from every seam around your cloth/plastic creating a dust storm because its pulling air from every direction. So in a long explanation to sum it up use plastic and tape everything off including floor and ceilings and corners where to pieces meet and tap off around the filter the only air moving into that space should be from under the door thats being pulled back out by the filter next to the door and put a walk off mat right in the entrance to collect any dirt coming in under the door that will eliminate most of the issue. I also read in the comments about wetting the floor thats another good pro tip. Keep up the good work i have been watching you for a few years now and I really injoy your videos

  8. Love your honesty, great video, excellent craftsmanship. Keep pushing and being creative. ????????

  9. Ive done a lot of burnt wood projects and I think nothing looks better with the car than Gold leaf. The fake stuff usually ends up looking better than the real stuff too. Just stick it on with hair spray and it maintains a really delicate leaf look.

  10. Hey bud I use to own and run a body shop years ago as for your diy paint booth next time I wouldn't use drop clothes just grab a big roll of plastic from lowes or home depot and make sure you cover the floor and tape the seems , the last step would be to wipe everything down with that tack cloth before you bring your table in after that you should be good , nice table too

  11. Less
The table is beautifully finished, but I’m not a fan of the burnt wood. I see it more as a fad, but to each his own. Nonetheless very nice work and tremendous attention to detail.

  12. You said you had orange peel, this can happen when you try to spray thicker coats
