  1. It smelled really good after fully cooked!!! I followed the recipe from @@joyfulcook I heard that cassavas can be highly toxic if not prepared properly 😱 And it’s my first time cooking it, I’m not sure if I followed all the steps correctly. Please let us know if your thoughts ❤

As a congolese, I can tell you did a great job butttttttt I dont use the same method as you… My mom usually make it with the flour which you can find in african stores and markets and juste add water in it cook it until it becomes yellow and DONT PUT IT IN A PLASTIC WRAP but in a round Ball for the shape then make peanut sauce??? Idk How we call it in English but it is sauce arachide (don’t but it in water for to long, you csn just smash it) 😁 As a first Time good job tough ❤😁😁👍🏽
