Lucky the Leprechaun isnโ€™t lucky at allโ€ฆheโ€™s a FAILURE. He may seem like a happy-go-lucky mascot thatโ€™s just trying to protect his charms, but really he is secretly dooming us all.

  1. There have been 13 marshmallows and only seven that remains to this day, Kingdom hearts lore in My Lucky charms!?

  2. Sometimes I think companies are like:
"Hey, why did you do this weird marketing move/ad?"
"I don't know, I'm just balling here, we'll just wait for internet theorists to create the story for us based on this"

  3. 0:12 That right there is how you know Matpat picked a good host to replace him in food theory.

  4. Dang it I hate how good this theory is. Because chances are GM isn't thinking this deep about the idea. But I hope GM is watching and totally steals the idea.

  5. 7:12 what?! They got rid of the horseshoes and red balloons?! There goes the jingle! "Hearts, stars, and horseshoes. Clovers and blue moons. Pots of gold and rainbows, and the red balloons!"
Oh 8:13 shows me I'm remembering 1994-2008 which sounds about right since that was my childhood.

  6. 8:07 Is it just me, or wasn't this replaced charm an hourglass? I remember the campaign that introduced the unicorn charm and how that was a big deal that felt temporary. Then the infamous song was changed: "hearts, stars, and horseshoes; clovers and blue moons; hourglasses, rainbows, and tasty red balloons." This is what we had, but then I heard the new version with "hourglasses" replaced with "unicorns," which confused me. I've gotten used to it since, but what do you mean by it being a crystal ball? I don't remember that one ever being part of the line-up. Is my memory just off or something?

  7. While weโ€™re on the topic of cereal mascots, can we talk about the Cinnamon Toast Crunch chefs? Iโ€™ve heard a theory that Wendell unalived the other two, but then Wendell was replaced by cannibalistic living cereal squares. Would love to know if thereโ€™s any deep lore about them!

  8. I can answer this question without watching the video yet lol:They're just MAGICALLY delicious

  9. Lucky's almost limitless supply of potent magic makes him resemble the Doctor Strange of cereal mascots.

  10. Food theory idea because im lazy to research: is sugar bad for us? Because on one hand it gives us energy and on the other hand people tell me all the bads about sugar(processed sugar)
