One medical school. Four years. Fifteen stories. In 2016, the University of Michigan Medical School welcomed 172 new doctors-in-training. Out of this group, 15 students agreed to be followed throughout all four years of their medical training, documenting key milestones in their journeys from the first months on campus until just days before graduation for most of them. In this short film, they tell their stories in their own words with glimpses into the reality of med school life as they lived it.

Are people incapable of communicating anymore without using the word 'like', over and over and over again? It's so irritating and unprofessional.
Your Doctors are domestic terrorists. Dr. Amy Harer is a psychopath that intentionally hurts her patients.
Loved watching this doc and seeing the students grow into physicians
As a U of M patient, THANK YOU ALL!!!

Excellent Presentation, Thank You
There's a long distance call that ain't from Michigan but from Virginia & you had to receive it from Chicago Illinois
This documentary seemed interesting in concept, but I gave up after a few minutes of listening because the interviews were full of inarticulate students (like…like…like…) talking about their own thoughts related to their student experiences, but no real information about what medical school is like. They talk about their extracurricular activities, relationships with faculty and other students, and motivations for being in school, but nothing about the actual program and specific learning experiences. I was surprised as how little information is provided outside of these topics–and, again, how inarticulate they are!
Congrats to the class of 2020 from a member of class of 2004!! Loved the video. Brought back a lot of emotions for me. Cherish those medical school memories. Best of luck with residency and attending life!!
Wow awesome. Song at 12:30 please???

My grandpa is 81, yet doesn’t look a day past 65 and is on top health (he swims In the freezing cold bay 2 times a week! He hikes strenuous peaks weekly. He bikes everywhere). His secret (he swears by). A shot of vodka/cognac followed by a spoonful of caviar every morning 🙂 as well as ti chi type meditation/exercise every morning.
Excellent Video!!! Thanks
