  1. Great video and explanation
I bought one of these glass top stoves because it looked so cool and salesman said it would be super easy to clean
He was wrong, not to mention it covered it fingerprints
I looked up this video to see how or if I could change the element in the future
It's easier to replace the burner
Than to clean the glass surface, never again

  2. I am replacing a 316224201 burner which is now changed to 316135401. The wiring configuration on the 316135401 is different. Now the new burner turns on when any burner is turned on. What am I missing?

  3. Your RepairClinic does not have what I'm looking for, could you give me some advice on where to find the replacement for WB61T10067 GE RANGE stove burner asbestos rings or rims? And where to get a manual for the stoves in terms of which cable connect to which side of each stove. Thanks very much!

  4. Thank you very much for the excellent instructions!

I have a Kenmore radiant element range. The main element when turned on low, heats up high and doesn't shut off.

At first I thought it might be the control, but then I got to thinking that if the element has a sensor IT might be the problem. Before I purchase a replacement element, I'd like to ask if I'm on the right track.

    Thumbs up!

  5. I have a Frigidaire double element that the large element does not work, however the inside element works. Does this mean the element is bad and it is not the switch?

  6. We inherited a stove without one of the radiant burners, and we have a replacement for it, but do not know which numbers to screw the element clips to, or which bracket notches to place them in without seeing where the old one was. Is there any way we can figure it out?

  7. excellent videos on changing the burners and cracked glass tops.
I had a renter that somehow busted the top on a stove and it was simple to replace.

  8. We would need to get the model of the unit to look at the wiring diagram. That is the only way to figure it out if the new replacement didn’t come with instructions.

  9. The new replacement substitute part 316135401 does not have a place for the orange wire. How do I wire?
