Listen, i enjoy building houses in the sims 3 and 4 enough to also have the same reaction as you Cliff if someone told me their ideal style is Tudor while showing that initial house plan 😂😂 💜

Who builds a house like that with a single garage any more? Looks like 1930's " Stockbroker" Tudor when you just got a garage big enough for a small 1930's car…

  3. @richidraykat

I love the tudor style especially the exposed beams. Without them it's just a house with a higher roof

I like where this channel is moving into. Can't wait to see more content like this Cliff! 😍❤

Did the client and the architect not talk to each other on a regular basis? Shouldn't it be normal to have regular meetings to talk about design and such when working on such a Projekt?

actual tudor houses are so beautiful, i grew up next door to one built around 1600 with the prettiest cottage garden, exposed beams and a thatch roof. it sold last year for £850k despite having only 2 bedrooms!

Love Tudors, hundreds of years old to early 20th century. The warm woodwork, timber beams, little nooks & alcoves; the diamond pane windows & cozy dormer bedrooms. They just say "home." 😊

Well done on that 3D render! Genuinely! All your architectural drawings are great, but this one really let you shine! 🤩

  9. @UmzGames

Big fan of the pencil method, nothing beats the tried and tested. But so you ever use anything digital to draw out the models?

I love architect… I may not be majoring in architecture yet in businesses information but I actually enjoying watching house tour videos and idea… I even imagined a house plan in my head and would looking at house plan that advertised for rental or sale… Even his video looks pleasing to me… LOL…

I've been calling it Modern Tudor. It lacks the decorative dark beams but includes the steep rooflines, sometimes with a curve at the bottom on a gable, and I've even been seeing the thick wood brackets to support a second story overhang. I quite like it but it does feel like a trend that will be on its way out soon.

  12. @wnood

This is an architect who actually listens to his Clients. Architects like this are few and far between so he gets 100% my respect. So now you know 🙂❤️

  13. @jenniferhanses

The F*ck was his first architect thinking?

Because Tudor is a very distinct and easy style that everyone should know.

And yeah, it looks nothing like a modern minimalist house.

Was that guy just asking to get fired?

Because the original meaning of "the customer is always right" wasn't that you take abuse from the customer, but that if the customer says something like "I want a Tudor house" you give them a Tudor house even if you personally hate it.

I do not understand the extra jutting out bits that modern homes have. They look so fucking ugly. Same goes for the attached garage
