  4. It’s yummy to make butters with. You can freeze them and use whenever. On a warm crusty roll, in cooking etc.
    your pesto would also be a fabulous flavour to add butter to YUM

  5. We use these in Chinese cooking a lot. They're slightly sweet when sautéed and have a nice texture.

  6. I used to throw them out untill I saw them being sold 3/$1.00 at the gardeners market. I asked the vender what uou do with them. She didn't know. I told an Asian customer i was throwing them out and asked how to use them. She said she used them in stir fries, then I came accross a recipe for garlic scape pesto. I freeze it when I have bushes of them in late spring. I discovered a little bit of heaven on earth. That was almost 10 yrs ago

  11. Omg my Chinese parents LOVE these, holy crap these Garlic shoots are SO TASTY – you just fry them with some salty pancetta and they're literally the perfect side dish, no seasoning needed

  12. Throw away? They're commonly sold in Chinese supermarkets! Taste delicious stir fried with meat too!
