  1. So that only kinda true, the wood is made with a bunch of long fiber stuck together with a sort of natural glue called Lignin, and wood glue is stronger than lignin but less strong than the wood fiber so that why joinery is still important you want the joint to depend on the wood fiber not the lignin

  2. Still à fake accent for social media hahaha I know a girl from flordia famous on tiki toki but has a Australian accent (just because she moved there) and everyone actually thinks she's Australian.. I also know a American with a British accent hahaha just moved there, I feel like this is a forced Exaggerated accent by some of the words

  3. I know it’s not relevant to the video 😂
But I’m taking a trip to Ireland this summer. And whereabouts should I be looking for a good pint of Guinness

  4. The glue is as strong as the lignin but weaker than the fibres

That other American fine woodworker on YT told me.

  5. I appreciate a good little happy Irish glue dance… And as I've done a few myself, I can honestly say I give you about an 8.6!
    Slainté! 🍻

  6. As a testament, on words only my first BIG carpentry project was all glue at any joints, the project? A 2'x2' by 4' tall cabinet with the shelves dado'd in on both sides and in back with the top inset and all the walls mitered at 45⁰ the only nails were holding the frame for the door on the front

  7. Glue is really strong. I used to work in surface technology research as a chem-tech assistant, and surface preparation and primers can make the difference between ripping apart glue and the glue ripping a glass plug out of the glass surface it was put on.
