These look delicious! We have savoury pies in South African too. They're an affordable, easy-to-eat, satisfying meal. Apparently we eat roughly a million pies a day here, and I can't say I'm surprised

Its the pastry has me fascinated, mixing the butter with flour to roll into the pastry to get the layers. If you were measuring ingredients, would it be additional flour?
