  1. Ugh. I want to make these but I need quantities of ingredients. I'm very homesick and need some fish cakes to cry on while eating them.

  5. Yeah… Given Panko breadcrumbs were only invented in about 1939, I would venture to say this is not a 432 year old recipe.

  6. I'm from Ottawa, where this restaurant is, and have retired in Newfoundland, where this recipe is from! The only difference now is that the cod I get is waaayyy fresher!! LOL!!
