That went on really thick and chaulky
It's not hard if you have an airbrush π
There is a trick. White ink + airbrush. Even over black.
one of the hardest colours to paint is yellow even over a cream base colour imo
The paint with good coverage part caught my ears, but the closing joke sealed the deal ππ
HAHAHA as the bastard of a marine and being half Japanese, your empty photo frame joke ABSOLUTE KILLED ME i love it. you're my favorite painting creator.
Paint one layer of a light silver metallic, and the next layer can immediately be white. The metallic covers up the black completely, and silver is close enough to white that there is very little bleed through. Yellow on gold works the same way.
Tricks non-metalic metal purists never figure out, I guess.
As one half white guy to another, the water I was drinking just went everywhere πππ
Friend of mine and Sisters of battle with Kangaroo Feet, somehow I'm reminded of that now
Dry brushing the color in is pretty easy
Eavy Metal painter Neil Hodgson back in the day told me if you paint white always use a black undercoat. He told me if you ever paint yellow, use a mid tone brown base coat.
Blood of heretics will look wonderfuly on that white armour (let's hope serfs have good cleaners)
"an empty photo frame with a picture of my dad" is not an empty photo frame.
I'm as white as white is white and didn't have a dad growing up.
With a predominantly white model, rattlecan is the way to go. If you make mistakes on the trim and mark the should-be-white, make it battle damage or something like that.
There's a reason my mostly white orks have so much rust on them. It's only like half intentional.
YEAAAAH white chocolates, STILL CHOCOLATE BABY WOOOOOW!!! π
I agree that white is the hardest to paint. I would've said that yellow is worse, but half of my minis are Imperial Fists and I've got used to it
Yellow is awful to paint.
yellow on black primer
That last line lmaooo
This is almost exactly how I paint whites with a cool base tone. I do think whites and blacks are the hardest colors to paint just because you canβt really paint The Color youβre painting. Second hardest are yellows or anything thin like that where you basically preshade and glaze it.
Hard is sometimes red and yellow. White is hard for me only in flat results, yellow too.
