Hi Laura, I have a question about onions. Mine grow somehow sideways, the tops don't stand up and end up laying over each other. I'm not sure if I explain myself correctly but maybe you know why my onion grow weird? Thank you!

Santa Rosa plums were developed by Martin Luther, an extremely fascinating plantsman. He made a deal with the local children… they could eat the fruit as long as they saved him the seeds. He also developed a thorn-less cactus that Jack London thought would be good for cattle feed, and the shasta daisy from a very small flower to the big daisies we know today. And on a bet a developed a white blackberry. If you ever get to Santa Rosa California I would say it is a must stop to tour his home.

As long as the onions aren't bad you can always use it for a stock. Throw it in the freezer and just toss it in when you are ready to make stock. It's the best!!

Here in Spokane, Zone 5, the forget-me-nots have taken over all over our backyard. They look so cute filling in between plants. The problem arises when they go to seed. The seeds cling and snarl into everything, especially dog and cat fur. Despite aggressively pulling up the plants before they set seed, new plants come up repeatedly each growing season. Good thing they are cute!

How are you growing green beans and bell peppers in over 100 degrees? My bell peppers drop their flowers when it gets over 100 here. Got any advice for those of us who have over 100 every day without any rain for all of July, August and sometimes September?

I’m going to like this post because Laura must have been picking beans forever. That’s hard work !!!

What an amazing harvest!! 😍😍😍It always amazes me how much food a garden can grow. We grow beans for bulk and preserve by freezing for the winter. This year I'm going to try my hand at canning them. Most days in August all of my food comes from the garden. August and September are so special to me for just this reason.

Love love love! What kind of beans? What seed company? Did you direct sow or start in the greenhouse? They look delicious!!! ❤thanks again for a yummy video.

Hi from Malaysia. I just love your channel. I would love to create something as beautiful as your garden. Then comes the monsoon season. I think I'll have to improvise the plants to suit my climate. But yours are just so beautiful. 😍😍😍

I’ve had issues with birds eating my corn and then ants getting to the kernels. How do you prevent that?

Is a bolted onion stronger and hotter than one that is not? Love your channel Laura!

I know you talked about how your videos get flagged on Facebook because of the music even though you have the rights, but this episode without music was just as fun to watch without it! It almost feels like we are in the garden with you, it has a similar feel as the tours!
