The term 20/20 vision refers to the distance from which people’s vision is tested in relation to the size of the text that can be read from that distance. Calculate the quality of an individual’s vision with information from a practicing optometrist in this free video on eye health.

20/20 means reading 5 minute-of-arc letters at 20 feet or 6 meters. The 20/20 letter is 3/8 inch high. The "width" of the black letters is 1 minute-of-arc. The resolving "limit" of the human eye is considered to be 1 minute-of-arc. Best, Otis
