For like 3 years, when ever I lay down I can hear and feel my heartbeat, and its uncomfortable, I also experience palpitations from time to time, and chest pain consists of sharp or dull pain in the upper left chest area. It is exagerrated whenever I drink alcohol, I also quit smoking 5 months ago and the symptoms are still present. I tol my doctor a year ago, had a bunch of tests done, and apparently im fine, but i don't feel fine, any pointers?
