How to have better Heart Health in 2014

Want to heal? – throw away your prescription drugs. Health should be basic not over complicated with all sorts of chemical treatments. Bodily functions are a natural thing- in order to keep it functioning properly than it is better to use natural remedies, if you want a synthetic heart than use synthetic remedies.

Dr Bergman, almost 2 months ago, I was feeling tightness in my chest and shortness of breath while doing high intensity exercises. I was around 257 pounds at that time (now I'm 246 pounds). So I saw a cardiologist, he did a test on me on a treadmill ( stress test), which he wasn't happy with the results. He suspected a mild blockage in my heart arteries and prescribed aspirin and high blood pressure medication for 2 months and advised me avoid saturated fat and to lose weight ( which I'm doing no). He will see me after 1 month do the stress test again and if not improved then I will have to be in the hospital for angiogram and further treatment. I don't want to take aspirin or any other medication as I'm convinced by your great videos and so can I heal my illness? Pls advise. Thanks

Hi Dr John,
Please can you confirm for me that an over dose of iron can cause palpitations, rapid heart beat. I have recently/stupidly..been taking supplements and eating steak etc, the reason..my hair has been falling quite a lot. I was taken to hospital with the heart thing last week, but in the panic I forgot to mention the iron, they put it down to panic. After realising what I may have done to myself, I asked my doctor, in fact I asked two doctors if Iron could have done this to me, they said "no" even when I told them I was passing black stools, they said "well yes, that's your body getting rid of excess iron!" !!!
Be grateful for a brief moment of your time to confirm this for me please.
I won't be doing it again! Thank You.

Dr. Bergman,
For very long time I had been you follower admiring all your dedication and service for this humanity . Well, now my husband had a heart attack on June 13 .and after different tests, they found three main arteries blockage with more than 60% They only did one procedure leaving two for the first week of October .
the cardiologist did what they called Cardiac Catheterization or angioplasty and placed a wire mesh (stent). For October they thinking a bypass because the position of the remaining blockage arteries

My question: Is possible reverse that diagnosis naturally or Does exist an alternative holistic treatment to avoid that surgery that is very dangerous or is too late for looking an alternative? they said my husband will be under anesthesia between five or six hours.
He is 49 years old weight 142 pounds longer smoker and with a lot of stress for that time.
After that episode, he stopped smoking totally and improving his lifestyle even meditating with me and following most of your advice.
But I will highly appreciate if you can say something about it.Thay way I will schedule a skype consultation. He had been my angel for twenty-two years and father of four boys.
I will be eternally grateful to hear something from your brilliant mind.

P.S. If somebody had been in this situation I will appreciate any opinion.

Joy Barrie says:

Dr Bergman, I have scaring to my heart from heart attacks and my ejection fraction is 30%.  Doctors at NY Presbyterian in NY tell me I have to stay on my cardiac meds for now.  I eat organic and do not take vaccines. Can you recommend anything else to get my heart functioning better.  I exercise 3-4 times a week. 45 mins running against the current in a pool and 30 mins in the gym.  10 mins bicycling, 80 reps of rowing and 10 mins stretching and sit ups.

James Pettyjohn says:

What do you mean when you say from a healthy source? Is it good to have along with vinegar in salads or just using it w/o actually cooking. I have heard u say other oils are good, although I can't say what they are. Are these good to use for cooking.

James Pettyjohn says:

Dr. Bergman, thank you so much for your helpful information! You were talking about oils earlier in the video & were showing the different ones which included olive oil. I thought that was a healthy choice. Are you saying it's not.

Jos willam says:

Thank you , great job.

Donna Hollenbeck says:

Dr. Bergman,
What is your advice on the best way to get off meds?  I am currently taking Metformin, Glyburide, and the HCTZ/Lisinopril combo.  Since watching your videos I have already weened myself off Prozac and muscle relaxers for a back injury.
