i literally get 3 hours of sleep a night .. I can't fall asleep or stay asleep !
I really apreciate you saying how not sleeping affects your life and the way you react to people. Im 20 now, sleeping problems since i was about 13.. not going to go into details but people who dont suffer from any lack of sleep dont understand and dont want to understand that it has a very negative influence on the way you respond to small mistakes or errors and feedback. I sleep aprox 15'- 35 hours a week fallling asleep arround 4/5 with the alarm set at 7.30.

And very often I keep randomly waking up. One time in math we were doing this chart on how many hours we sleep. Abd when someone said 7:00 teacher was like wow. Then when it was my turn I was nervous cuz I didn't want to say 3! So I said 6 abd she starts ranting about how I need more sleep. Sigh…life
I usually fall asleep after 2:00 and in the summer it's great because I can sleep as long as I need to and I'm not going to a camp so it's good. (i'm 11) but during the week I have to get up at 6:45 for school it really sucks but what is odd is that I am so tired in the morning jut later it's like I slept for 10 hours so my body is accustom to it, kind of. I still get tired and headaches.
I get tired, go to bed, but its like I "hover" in this state where I ALMOST fall over that edge, into unconciousness. I have a sleep disorder, diagnosed by a neurologist. Its like I sleep with one eye open, I'm always concious of the time thats passing. This sleep disorder is a result of a PTSD. I take medicine to put me to sleep, and another medicine to keep me asleep, because if I dont, I have seizures as a result of lack of sleep. Any ideas?
I get about 5 hours on work days, 8 to 9 on weekends. I think i don't want to go to sleep because that means when I wake up I have to go to work 🙁

maybe you should endure your insomnia for a while, and then you will just fall asleep without any pills
in the past three days i have only slept 4,5 hours….my vody is so tired. and my eyes are extremely tired, but for somereason i just cannot sleep…..after 8 or 9 i get so awake and cannot sleep. its 2.37 in the morning and cannot sleep. please someone help me. i dont know whats wrong. i take 4 to 5 pills to sleep a day and cannot sleep.. what the hell is wrong is me , please sopmeone help me?!!!!
i sleep werid, i iver sleep for 8 hours, or 14? and then i end up staying awake for 24 hours? :S

I have never been able to sleep at night..only in the day.This has created a whle lifestyle of being a night person.I am in the arts so i used to write ,paint,etc., but now I just putz around and think about how lost my days are.I'm a mom too so it hurts that I'mlike a marathon zombie with my daughter at some part of our days…I've tried everthing…I mean everthing….My oldest friend said I'm a night person and just accept it…so here i am….

i've had sleep problems for 25 years so i think that qualifies me to comment.
try trancendental meditation,it's a technique that trains the mind to let go,which just about covers about 90% of sleep disorders.
Eight hours. Normally I get around 7 and hours, depends on how tired I am.
I get around 3 hours sleep normally. My sleep pattern is backwards so I sleep better in the day.
If I sleep more than 4/5 hours I feel tired and sad, but if I slee alittle I get more excitable and happy. :/
I get 12 hours of sleep when I don't have school the next day, from staying up till like 3:00 am than I get baggy eyes, and it looks like somone punched me, cause its all purple under my eyes xD
