Mine is when I stand it gets very hot and warm and continues down to the knee. The bone just below my breast on the right hand side popped out and when pushed back in, sore in front but the back pain and knee leave.

Slumping at the desk in the office is a common problem. I really enjoyed your hallelujah solution. We can all benefit from more hallelujah occasions at work. Hallelujah. 😉

I've been having tightness and pain in the middle of my back for about nine months now. I tried the hallelujah stretch, and I instantly felt better than I have since Halloween!! Thanks a lot!! You guys rock!

Phyllis San Juan says:

Appreciate the great advice, but please lose the ties.

Hey Guys – I've had mid back, upper back and neck pain for months. My rhomboids have felt "shut down" and scapula not moving well at all. Finally had an EMG done and it showed nerve to levator, rhomboid minor and rhomboid major is stuck or compressed before it gets to rhomboid major.. minor and levator test good. Have you ever seen this? Do you have suggestions?

Marlene Steele says:

With respect to that tennis ball between the muscles as you were laying down, I found that I could do this standing up, having the balls against the wall and I moved about to find those sweet (per se) spots and it helped me too.

I've started doing exercise for the first time 3 weeks ago and I've included back and posture exercise into my regime since I had bad posture. Now I have quite a good posture but the negative side is I have mild middle back pain. Now, since after I watch your video and tried those stretches especially the one on the chair, it really relieves the back pain I'm having with. I just want to say thank you for the help! 😀

Shelby Moss says:

Oh my! I wish I had found these videos sooner. Sadly I'm learning patient education and at home remedies are the best treatment methods for me. After waiting weeks to be seen at a local orthopedic clinic I was assigned a dr who was lacking compassion, respect for patients, and horrible bed side manner. As a PT student I was aware he performed essentially no exam/evaluation and was trying to get me in and out the door as quickly as possible without even hearing me out. I knew something was wrong when he went to leave the room and hadn't even asked where the pain was located! I hope one day I can help people like y'all do with your professional and good spirited attitudes. Keep up the great work and thanks for the advice. (I've actually had thoracic pain stemming from a basic training injury in July. I'm hoping to get an MRI soon so I can see why the exercises I have been assigned to strengthen my back the past few weeks have actually caused painful spasms and completely immobilized me the day after each session.) I am currently told I should not even bend and was prescribed Flexeril- until I had a dangerous increase in heart rate, hives, and vomiting. I'm now on Valium for emergencies. I'm optimistic and desperate to get back to work (I serve in the Army NG) and school!

kelly marshall says:

I love both of your personalities, my back pain almost went away just watching your video. Thanks.

Just wondering if these exercises for the thoracic spondylosis will be detromental to my L4-5 Spondylolisthesis/pars defect? Can you help me i am in constant pain-thinking about having a fusion for the lumber spondy to help????

Caila says:

I injured myself at work, not slouching, but lifting heavy sheets. I'm a housekeeper, and the job is slowly starting to mess my body up. I can't work on the top floor any more now. I was prescribed steroids and I HATE pills. They give me anxiety- Most of them. I do things naturally. I hope this stretch helps me. I have two days off now, and I'm terrified to go back to work after this injury.

Annie Turner says:

I've been doing these stretches for months and my osteoarthritis in my t spine is not getting better. I'm actually starting to get headaches due to my shoulder blades being in constant pain due to my spine. Is there any relief? I about can't take it anymore.

dsibley12 says:

Thanks for the video! I know it's normal that a foam roller should be mildly painful while actually using it, but I'm finding I'm temporarily in more pain after finishing than I was before. Is that normal and/or should I avoid foam rollers? Thanks

cameron d says:

This is exactly what I needed to hear and see. I play golf and make the mistake of not warming up. In recent weeks I found myself unable to turn to the right, but have no problem turning to the left. I'm left handed. I will incorporate these exercises in my warm up. Thanks.
