And all of these were like 600 quid a few years ago. Absolute joke. For 1000 or just above I'd go longines
Cannot go too wrong with this trio.
The Citizen watch wasn’t doing it for me. It looked too plain and just not worth the money. Yes, I get it, it's made with titanium but that's all it has in my eyes.
Lmfao @ anyone who spends 1000s on a fkin watch i make over 6 figures…. and i rock a $15 watch cuz it tells the time jewelry is such a waste of $
Citizen has grown on me so much over the past few years
I have the Seiko Presage Sharp Edge X Haliburton collaboration. Same movement as covered here with a limited edition dial for around $1,100 MSRP. I bought it pre-owned (gently used)for less than retail and it’s a great watch for the price. High quality finish and excellent wear at 39mm on my 7.5in wrist. I’m definitely satisfied with my purchase
Sadly, 38mm Khaki is too small and the next size up 42mm is too big for me.
You can always just get a used Tudor or Universal genve
Screw all that, San Martin, or Casio’s Oceanus line and invest the savings into the S&P500.
No Tfit or deployment clasp. Sad
It would be the Seiko for me.
That Hamilton titanium Khaki Auto would be great in 40mm and fixed lug bars.
I think that the Citizen wins!
For $1,000, I think I'd rather buy a Doxa, Baltic, or Christopher Ward.
