Ingredients for two servings:
2 small frozen bananas
1 1/4 cup milk of choice (300 ml)
6 tablespoons (vegan) chocolate protein powder
2 pitted dates*
2 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
2 tablespoons peanut butter (I use a pb that is 100% made of peanuts)

1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth

* If you are on the elimination phase of the low-FODMAP diet, replace the dates with the maple syrup and be sure to use a firm bananas instead of a ripe ones☺️

  2. I have this for breakfast every day, makes me excited to wake up haha, without the protein powder though!

  3. This looks yummy in my tummy. I used all my milk yesterday. I’m going out to the store today to buy some. Have a great day. Take care and be well.💐

  4. Yes, it does look delicious, but good God, that's a lot of sugar! I'd back out the bananas and use some nuts for creaminess.

  5. This comes out to around 570 cals, 32g protein, 69g carbs, and 13g fat. By no means is this “high in protein.” Don’t get me wrong, it’s healthy, but if you make this don’t think that you’re getting much protein. This is a carb smoothie. The recipe also uses vegan protein, which isn’t as bioavailable as milk/animal protein due to it lacking in some of the nine amino acids.
