On today’s episode of Homeworthy, we’re bringing you an exclusive look into how New York-based designer Katie Ridder transformed an unlively primary bedroom into a botanical retreat for the beautiful Kips Bay show house in Palm Beach, Florida. Expansive in size, Katie partitioned the space into three relaxed living areas to offer a sense of versatility and comfort. Wallpaper dotted with sprawling ferns and native bluebirds animate the room while an anchoring four-post bed and turquoise embroidered headboard serve as quietly dramatic focal points. Enjoy!

I love the mix of patterns and the colors are beautiful!
I would have chucked that ugly floor before dropping all that on decorating.
I love when a master bedroom celebrates the bed. The four poster is perfect and the wallpaper is divine!!! Wonderful room.
This bedroom is simply Beautiful!!! Her dress is Beautiful as well!!!
I’ve never seen more beautiful design. If only I could study her work. Wow!! ????
Not my idea of luxury bedroom. Reminds me of a motel room in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Pass on this designer.
Her work is great, it has just the right amount of eclecticism tied in with the perfect amount of symmetry and order. Very organized.
Her dress is amazing
When I saw that Orange center table it was a Wrap.
Out the park beautiful colors..
I was able to visit the showhouse and this room was absolutely more gorgeous in person.
Love this room and Katie's design style overall. Quite a variety of different textures and details without feeling overwhelming or headache inducing. Fantastic work. I would have loved a tour of the rest of the home as what can be seen from the bedroom looks just as lovely.
First tip: overdesign as much as possible in a show house!!! ????????????
Now, whenever I hear it's a "show house" project, I continue in order to cringe watch!!!!????????????
Amazing!
I also have some interior design related videos on my channel and I would love it if you guys check them out ????
I could just live full-time in the bedroom. She sure likes L-shaped couches. I've never understood them because no one can sit in the corner without their knees squished together. Why not just a sofa and a loveseat instead? Freeing up the corner gives you room for a table with a lamp too.
That dress!
Too much colour
Beautiful ????
Stunning. Tastefully done. Love the colors and the wallpaper is awesome ????.
Love the Wallpaper, the bedding is Gorgeous as is the Headboard, the lamps are also very nice & the curtains …Love the colors & design of the upholstery of the couch and chair but hate the actual designs of both of the actual furniture choices Something softer not so 50's would have been Better ,in my Opinion , the Desk and Desk chair are Also great so it's Good
Overall but the only thing I'd change is the actual style of both the couch & wooden chair besides it…????
I love the carpet but the rest is too sweet for my taste.
I ove her style. I also loved her beautiful dress. ????????????
She was able to mix lots of color and texture without it feeling like your suffocating. Also, her dress was so nice!
