Hm.. Does it give you squeeky voice, or is that an American affectation??

Made this for dinner over some brown jasmin rice added some chinese 5 spice and schiuan peppercorns too and tossed in some homegrown bok choy. It's delicious!

so like, i really love this creator's recipes, and this one looks delish, and i love the concept of this series. but it irks me when food creators say they're making budget-friendly recipes, and then call for things like maple syrup or sundried tomatoes. those are not budget-friendly ingredients! sure, the amount of maple syrup in this recipe might cost $0.80, but you can't buy $0.80 worth of maple syrup at the grocery store, you have to spend $15 dollars on a full bottle! etc etc with other expensive ingredients like sundried tomatoes. if you have those ingredients on hand, great, but i would wager most people who need recession recipes don't, because they cost too much. i certainly don't keep them in stock for that reason. but like i said, i really love this creator's recipes, and her mission to make plant-based recipes accessible! i just think this is a point worth considering 💕

Ran to the kitchen to make this and it was delicious! I was worried that the tofu might not crisp up, but it did! (Air fryer at 400F for 15 minutes was perfect!)

It’s so great that you’re doing these but it is so incredibly depressing that this is the new norm. We shouldn’t be struggling to survive right now in what’s considered the most advanced nation in the world

I’m not strictly vegan so this is a nice recipe I can pair w/ other protein options when I’m entertaining people who aren’t so big on plant based options 🙂
