HOUSE TOUR: Inside Cecilia Casagrande's Eclectic & Colorful Boston Home

On today’s episode of Homeworthy, we’re bringing you inside interior designer Cecilia Casagrande’s eclectic 1800’s Victorian home in Brookline, Massachusetts. A pattern mixologist, Cecilia has countered the extremes of mid-century modern style with moments of antiquity to create a refreshingly unapologetic take on interior design. Enjoy!

  1. Your home is absolutely gorgeous. I love, love, love that beautiful green tile in the shower. The whole bathroom is exquisitely decorated. Your colour choices are just perfect.

  2. Her bueatiful soul shines throughout her casa. Well done and personal. I prefer one own style as apposed to copy cat trends that fade.

  3. I just checked out her portfolio and love her use of colors. She’s so talented!

  4. Beautiful! I would love to know the fabric on the dark green, snake velvet pillows in the kitchen!

  5. She is such a beautiful woman but that outfit is just awful on her. That jacket is too short and too tight and hits right at the wrong place on the waist, too high. The ill-fitting trousers and dumpy shoes. She is absolutely stunning. I would love to dress her.

  6. I just love this woman’s personality & style. This is what great interior design is all about… creating a home filled with sentimental items that reflect relationships with people we love. ❤

  7. as a fellow social worker and artists at heart, it was so cool to hear how you blend the two!

  8. Original colorista …hermosa …????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  9. My favorite part is the master bathroom! So much going on yet nothing seems out of place, looks like art!

  10. Oh blimey, I thought the Marilyn Monroe poster was her husband's and hers was James Bond. See? One can't pre judge! ???? And it's true, the frame can cost you MORE than the painting itself!

  11. What a beautiful home, so much personality and character, there’s more to see as you look more.
It’s the answer to these houses that the designer got it all in one store, which many times look like showrooms.

  12. I love the mix of colors and patterns, a lot of it but it all goes well together ❤

  13. This is a beautiful home loved and well layered by the owner. She loves her home and that's what matters

  14. ???? ???? ???? ❤❤❤ TOTALLY LOVE Everything!!! The colors ????????????????, every single choice and detail, are SUPERB! I love all the details that she gave!!! ????
