HOUSE TOUR: Inside Diana Pearl's English-Inspired New York Apartment

Today we’re taking you inside writer and editor Diana Pearl’s 600 square foot Manhattan apartment. Having lived in New York for nearly a decade, Diana’s love affair with her home was certainly fate. Refinishing the apartment’s original 1960’s hardwood floors and dressing the walls in a sophisticated, feminine pink brought Diana’s vision of an English country cottage to life. Enjoy!

  1. My living room is also painted in Farrow & Ball Pink Ground. I think it's the perfect pink for people not sure about pink. It is also very gender neutral.

  2. Not sure what’s so “worthy” or special about this home. Especially that kitchen, really?

  3. Lovely real home, if a slight obsession with the royal family but that’s ok too. Lovely lady, lovely real home. I’d take this over the “granny” large Texas homes ????

  4. Get your grandmothers painting out of the kitchen! Cooking splatters, greases, steams etc will ruin any painting. That painting might be the only real FAMILY piece you have years from now. The royal family should be nobody, compared to your own family, so put some of your royal art in the kitchen, where it will not matter if it gets ruined. And take better care of your own family heritage.

  5. I'm absolutely obsessed with Homeworthy, but this apartment is underwhelming. It's the worst I've seen yet.

  6. Diana Pearl I commend you for having a goal and a dream and for achieving that goal and living the dream! Good for you! Your home should always give YOU a hug when you enter it, no matter what others want to think…. That bedroom wallpaper is simply exquisite!

  7. I always enjoy H.W. and lately we have had individual rooms decorated and very small apartments. Not sure about others, however, I am so ready for a nice beautiful home tour. I have missed those from lovely interior designers who show their love for decorating in their own homes. Thank you for all your hard work.

  8. Lovely apartment! Spacious and lively for her. I love how she has saved her "Playbill Brochures; since she was 12; from Broadway!" Her London travels have made her an honorary tour guide! I see her marrying a gentleman from England! ????????❤️????????

  9. Lovely cosy bright apartment with her personality layered in, which is always better than a bland anonymous room.

  10. Americans obsession with the Royal Family is weird – you didn’t want us in 1775, why are you bothered now? Unless you’re a 90 year old grandma whose grandchildren buy you Royal ‘trinkets’, no one is decorating their house like this. Weirdo!

  11. This is avery nice apartment in Manhattan and a nice owner. Great location and interior design.???? She would fit great into the Royal family and would embrace all the traditions and protocoll. ???? I would like to recommend to her spending a vacation in the Cotswolds and rent a cottage there. Kind regards and my very best wishes ????????‍♀️from Germany.

  12. I love her apartment and the fact that she truly embraces who she is and what she loves!!

  13. I'm not a fan of the royal family but I absolutely love Diana's space, as well as Diana. I really enjoyed this home tour!

  14. I love the coffee table, but the rest is stoopworthy, lol. and wtf with the kitchen? Why are we touring this apartment? Is access the only prerequisite for this channel?

  15. I love ❤️ her apartment! Very girly and cozy. AND I'm a huge royal fan, so tota6 love her collection.

  16. Paint the back walls of your bookcases with a tart blue, not dark but piquant. I really see that British vibe!!! I too love Englus design. For me the old stone country houses.

  17. I love the layout of Diana's home. The refinished floors are beautiful. The bedroom looks so very cozy with the glass doors. The retro glass and brass coffee table is beautiful. Also, I love when New Yorker's talk about their sidewalk finds.

  18. The kate & william mouse pad was bordeline creepy???? this doesn't remind me of "English country" at all, its just very chaotic.

  19. Strange… I really don't get it. ????

???? Are we just being nosy to peek into others home via this channel now, or is this actually considered a carefully styled/curated home these days…? ????

????????‍♀️ I'm not trying to be negative or anything, because I'm genuinely appreciative of the extra videos in recent weeks, but very much nOt a fan of the (average ole' cluttered) homes.

Might exit my follow if I'm not seeing true beauty and unique design. ????????

  20. I love people who have niche interests and are able to speak so passionately about their collections. It’s what makes people so fascinating

  21. Love love love! Does she have a blog or a YouTube channel? I can listen to her all day ????

  22. I love it. It's welcoming, bright and airy, and an amazing reference to different spots in history. To me it is fun to bring our special interests into our homes. And simply holding those unique cups in your hands and feeling their fragile importance in this very different world must be a real treat.
