Why did you use those cheap ass split escutcheons they rust up in about two weeks. The 1/4 turn valve was a good idea
Why do most videos I see, the plumber always using compression stops. I’ve been plumbing for 42 yrs now and have never used one. I either sweat one on or sweat a male adapt on and use a IPS stop. I once went to a house around 2:30am on an emergency warranty call for a new construction plumber. The ice maker compression stop had blown off type L , installed in a recessed box. Lots of damage, by the time they figured it out and turned off the water. I knew then to never use them.

Not to be a heater, but that’s not how a real plumber changes an angle stop handy, Andy and homeowners use compression fittings. Plumbers solder were the very least used pro press you can’t go and charge somebody for something that they can just do on their own by going to Home Depot. Again, I’m not hating, but do you have a master plumber’s license?

That's a neat wrench and man I always wished I had a pad for my knees when I was plumbing. Never got around to it out of laziness, but that's the best tool in the van right there

Bro, dont be mad at us you were taught shit any local handyman can do, be mad at the journeyman who taught you for not teaching you all aspects of plumbing. As a REAL plumber if you cant rough in a house, you aint a plumber, a REAL plumber knows gas, service, remodels, and new construction.
