Samin Nosrat is here! (Yay!) Today, she’s showing us how to make three different condiments and toppings with an array of exciting flavors and textures to liven up your Thanksgiving table. First up is a Fried Sage Salsa Verde, which adds crunch and acid as well as sage, a familiar Thanksgiving flavor. Samin’s Cilantro-Date Chutney lends sweetness and spice (especially to your leftover turkey sandwich). And Herby Fried Shallot and Bread Crumb Crunch is the perfect topping to any dish that could use some crispiness.

  1. just thinking…if you fried the herbs 2nd, then the bread would be soaking up shalloty, herby oil= tastier, no?

  2. Thanksgiving is a BIG thing for All Americans, how did her family avoid it?! It is not a religious thing, it is an American thing and All Americans can enjoy it.

  3. I love you so much! I was raised with thanksgiving have always hated the meal until I learned about salt, fat, acid. I don’t think my family appreciates my contributions as a whole but I love them! So do my BFFs at Friendsgiving after. Or maybe we enjoy the wine ????‍♀️

  4. Thank you Samin! I love shallots. I will be using this crunchy topping for Thanksgiving!

  5. Look, let's cut to the chase & ask when Samin & Sohla are gonna get together & combine their shared powerfully technically-sophisticated, DEEPLY intellectual, acadedemically elevated minds together? Both are so elegantly cerebral… yet so un-egotistically so – while never losing the playfulness, the fun, the lovely light-heartedness that the best family/celebratory cooking always offers…. I'd pay good money to see those 2 chicks in the same kitchen…

  6. is she channeling Julia Child here or is it just me? Love the sweater and hair!
