  8. This lady should never bake another sweet potato. Never puncture or wrap sweet potatoes. The other directions are fine, only increase baking time by 15 to 30 minutes.

  22. For many years I bake mines for a hour and brush some olive oil (or melted butter) on the sweet potato before I wrap it up in foil and let it cook. It does wonders!

  26. Thanks so much! If the sweet potatoes are large, can I just cut them in half and bake them that way?

  27. i find that after 35-40 minutes, the potato is still hard. i think it really needs an hour to cook.
