  1. Goes into bathroom grabs hair dryer. Point at thermostat. Nice cold room.

  2. “I’m fat and need to make rooms extra cold” has there ever been something more American?

  3. This is why most modern hotels control their room temps from the seniors management office. The guest only really get to control the fan speed.

  4. Never had issues with temp in a hotel room before, if it's too hot make it the hotels problem. I'm paying money to be there, not to DIY the air

  5. I know my dad does this a lot. I don't think hes ever gotten in trouble for it. Its usually really easy to look up what key presses do it.

  6. As a hotel maintenance man, please don’t. This tends to freeze the coils.

  7. Definitely something that can be noticed. Most people don't have there room drawing thousands of watts all day long. Enjoy the charge because they already have your credit card info

  8. There's a reason conventions always schedule Dev's talks on the last day. And this is just the tip of the iceberg (that the hotel will become once you steal the elevators, let yourself into all the unoccupied rooms, and do this with the A/C)
