Don’t throw money away!make a candle, use it for biofuel, filter it and put it in your vehicle , make bird and pet feed, use it for rust proofing and rust removal , lubricant, leather protection, release agent, or taking road tar from your cars paint, make soap.
or you can just pour it into a mason jar or old can and put it in the freezer and throw it away. cost nothing and you dont look stupid doing it
Corn starch will do the same thing for 10x cheaper
Also fat just hardens anyway so unless you’re literally cooking with only oil (frying something) it will generally harden and you can just wipe it out with a paper towel and dump it.
Aluminum foil formed into a cup then placed on top of the sink drain works for me. Wait for a bit then throw it away, especially if it can’t be used again.
So along with our $5 bottle of oil we also need to get a $20 pack of powder
