  1. The directions aren't very good. The Base Assembly (rails the drawers attach to) say to push the plastic release lever up to pull out the piece that attaches to the drawer. It actually had to be pressed down.

  2. Fair warning – this kit is assuming you have a house with 16-on-center stud spacing. As such, the cleets only fit 16" stud spacing. So, if you have an older house with 24-on-center stud spacing you are out of luck (unless you fabricate something to let you hang these onto something else that is attached to the 24" spaced studs) and will need to purchase the optional cabinet base which allows these to stand on their own (another $40 per base if you can even find them.) Also, if you are interested the white kit make sure you match your white paint with this kit FIRST otherwise you will find out (like I did) that the white kit is off white (an antique dull white). The difference in Lowe's idea of white and the normal idea of white are very different. I bought my kit a few years ago and the boxes said 'white' and the pictures were bright white. However, in person the differences are as obvious as white and black. Otherwise these are pretty nice looking closet systems. Be prepared for a few hours of assembly before you get to the actual hanging/installation.

  3. Stupid kit. They dont sell corner units so you cant but 2 kits together in a corner

  4. Depending on how much you use the bedroom closets, you may be able to get by with simply organizing some of the smaller items that are in the closet.
