Recycle an old milk carton into a birdfeeder and welcome your feathered friends to your yard.
Step 1: Cut a hole
Cut a hole large enough for the birds in your neighborhood into each side of the empty milk carton with the scissors.
Tip
Kids, let an adult help you with this part.
Step 2: Poke a hole
Poke a hole through the top of the milk carton with a pencil.
Step 3: Insert string
Insert a length of string through the hole and tie the ends together.
Step 4: Fill
Fill the carton with birdseed mix until it reaches the holes in the sides.
Step 5: Hang
Hang your bird feeder on a tree branch by the string and wait for some hungry birds.
Did You Know?
The ostrich produces the world’s largest egg, while a hummingbird produces the smallest.
Splendidly to see Woodglut have new plans which helped me save some money and energy for this construction.
Make sure the birds do not injure their feet in sharp plastic.
Can't poke holes with a pencil, but bc good idea
I made it by myself. I used woodprix scripts for that.
One gust of wind and it's toast. Rain would immediately get inside it (or snow). That is, if the squirrels don't get it first! I've seen squirrels jump 3 feet off a tree and land on a feeder and DRAIN IT. This is just too flimsy to work. Sorry.
I had no idea a milk carton could hold something. Thank you for sharing this priceless information. (I say this with sarcasm as I feel sorry for everybody that liked this video ????)
I never make any of this stuff, I just like watching other people make them.
Very helpful. I pluck weeds and put them in a basket, now a bird is making it's nest there.

Brilliant idea! Also a way of saving money from expensive bird feeders.
What other seeds could you give to the birds instead of bird seeds?
Thank you so much! I've been wanting to learn how to make a bird feeder in an easy way without using drills and other items! Thank you once again.
