We keep those fruit/veggie plastic bags you put veggies in at the grocery store, and use those for food scraps. Please don't throw away a bag the veggies came in, or throw away a bag and also throwing away parchment paper like this schmuck. Added perk is you can tie the bag off so your garbage can doesn't stink a day later. I hope this tip helps people out and reduces a little waste at the same time.

why creating so much trash? parchment paper for whatever amount of potatoes? Take a bowl or just scrape it off the working surface.
why is everything in plastic containers? They might be reusable but look like low quality and will break in the long run and need to be thrown away. Why not use glass?
