How to Pick the Best Carbs for Weight Loss | A Health Coach Perspective On LCHF

Not all carbs are created equal. Some cause weight gain while others flood your body with the nutrients it needs to keep your metabolism running strong. In this video, I rank carbs from worst to best, so you can make the right choices for weight loss. This is the same type of LCHF information I share with clients as a Health Coach.

  1. Hi Becky! Love you channel. Welcome your thoughts about EZEKIEL SPROUTED WHOLE GRAIN BREADS. Flourless and states low glycemic.

  2. Dear Dr Becky, Please would you do a video with recipe ideas, information & advice for those of us who need to do low carb & have to be on the Low FODMAP diet long-term. Many older people have insulin resistance/diabetes to cope with & also have IBS & have no choice but to stay on the Low FODMAP diet more or less permanently, or never leave the house because they have to be very close to a toilet. It would be so much appreciated if you could reach out to this group who are having to deal with huge difficulties on an everyday basis. Regards Sarah

  3. Sadly people who have to be on the Low FODMAP diet cannot have brocolli or cauliflower, so no brocolli or cauliflower rice, also we can only have a very small quantity of cougette or zucchini so probably no zoodles, or just a very small amount.

  4. Thank you for all your information……. I’ve been doing all your steps for 2 weeks and already see results in my menopausal stomach…I feel great eating healthy and no sweets .

  5. It's nice that you limit the length of your videosso people don' t get bored ! Thanks !

  6. Dr. Becky …you really are a life changer for all of us followers … i / we can't thank you enough.

  7. Can you recommend what the frequency of intermittent fasting should be when your goal weight is reached? I don’t imagine the daily diet should change much.

  8. What about fruits like strawberries, pineapple, apples, oranges – should they be avoided because they're high in sugar?

  9. Appreciate your videos and knowledge sharing.

I’m 53, and fast 12noon to 7 pm the following day for 6 days a week. I consume organic instant coffee with organic half and half each morning, usually 1-2 cups each morning. My breakfast is 2 slices of Daves Killer bread, 1 organic avocado and organic slice of tomato with organic sprinkle of chili flakes. Mid- morning I blend organic kale, spinach and organic frozen blueberries with water and ground flax seed for a smoothie. At noon, I will usually have a large cup of pinto and black beans ( I cook each week with dried whole beans in crockpot). I walk daily for 2 miles and do mild resistance on my arms and stretches.

Do you feel my habits are well rounded or do I need to add or remove?

  10. It’s just such good healthy advice ! I’ve lost 16 lb and have lost all the cravings for sugary stuff . It works !! Best thing I’ve ever done .
