Guy knows everything construction.
Just buy non expanding foam
Stop advertising spray foam
By volume it pollutes more than concrete
My hands hurt from watching you man handle that insulation
Except that spray foam is flammable. Pink is not.
Part 2: right and wrong way to handle insulation…. Lmao 🤣
This is bs.
BUY THIS! BUY THIS! BUY THIS! BUY THIS! BUY THIIIIISSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
use flexible foam. Older rigid foam can lead to glass breaking.
Yea we don’t do that we stuff with backer rod tape and caulk the joint people who use spray foam are the problem
The "wrong way" was actually the only way when spray foam didn't exist.. also you can fill the gap, as long as there's room to expand the casing won't warp
Spray foam voids window warranties. Not the best way.
it is very important to spray some water first.
Hell that’s more than most do lol!
House in america is just
Why not just build with actual building materials
that shit sucks
That isnt going to do shit for insulation. Its just to stop the drafts
An old Swedish saying about stuffing the wool around window frames.
First round is done by tĥe father.
The second by the mother.
The third by the child.
I'm all about that R-value 😌
Just a word of advice, don't use spray foam. Insurance companies are starting to reject homes that have used it because it is creating/hiding timber rot. You can't service parts of the building that are covered in the stuff. This means your home becomes difficult to sell because it can't get insurance.
If Americans call that a proper isolation, I am not surprised you call a gypsum board a wall. 😂😂😂
Wouldn't be a problem building your houses in Bricks.
no to foam. insulation works compressed or expanded. foam is messy and very not easy to clean
