  11. Hello I need some help out there. I don't specifically understand the meaning of Root and Unroot. Allow me to explain my problem:
    – I Have a Samsung Galaxy S3 I-9300
    – The Device Status says: Modified
    – I want to do a Software update but it says: "Your Device has been modified. No Software Updates available".
    – The phone came from a foreign country and to use it, network unlock is a must (I don't know if it is a helpful info)
    – Concerning the phone status in Download mode (Odin mode), this is what appears:
    Product name: GT-I9300
    Custom binary download: No
    Current binary: Samsung Official
    System status: Custom

    I need to UPDATE MY ANDROID SOFTWARE. All my apps are up-to-date but the phone is heating up too much and the phone freezes, lags,etc…each time i use more than 3 apps…
    Also there is this pop up that appears a lot of time saying: Shell has been granted Superuser,etc….and then my phone just freeze and i have to remove the battery to make it all ok…temporarily.
    My android Version is 4.1.2

    I am Open to any suggestions or tutorials…
    I only know after watching so much tutorials that i should not Brick my phone.

    After resetting to zero, will it revert back to one?

  15. Hey mate! I have a problem using this stuff. First of all my current binary says custom, but the system status says official. Moreover when i use the app it does not reboot or resets the flash counter. My current status cannot be determined according to Triangle Away and when the app starts i always get a message like: "Please note some devices keep reseting the counter to 1 as long as you are not running both a stock kernel and stock recovery". I am confused and i would appreciated any help. Thnx!

  17. triangle away shows 1 count but in download mode bianary count is not showing can i still unroot and factory reset.thx.
