No, Mr. framer or general contractor, it’s your job to look at the prints and box around the large plumbing accesses from upper floors.

  2. @STwin-z6u

Carpenters fault for not boxing out , job description in the name plumber does the plumbing doughnut

  3. @robant5578

IM remodeling my home and i found a joist that was cut 10 inches out of 12. , what an idiot would do that? and they ony needed like 4 inches cut to clear the pipe. Now i know how to fixthta, tanks to this video.

  4. @christopherTheCarpenter

You put joist hangers in along with subfloor adhesive if not ASSHOLE ASSHOLE!!!!!

  5. @franktramposh2256

Framers know where a toilet will be if they know how to read the blue prints.
    plumbers plumb,framers frame!
Do your job and try to give a sh▪︎▪︎

  6. @darrylfummerton6926

Your framer is an idiot. Thats a toilet and it has a 100% known location. Plumber did nothing wrong.

  7. @matthewwatkins6616

Hangers wouldn't be overkill. It would be minimum code to install on the left side. The right side lands on a wall and shouldn't require them.

  8. @thekeithlane

“That’s not my job” is the problem. Contractors and subs need to work together for the finished project.

  9. @bephilz4349

The plumber could have just used a hole saw and not hacked the joist out completely. Its not the framers fault the plumber is lazy or incompetent.

  10. @fieraci8500

Maybe the carpenter should have done the plumbing work so he could box it in properly at the same time.
Oh… a carpenter is not a plumber? Who knew?

  11. @LBS4

This is a layout issue that should have been solved by the GC and framer before the plumber even showed up. We know where toilets & drain stacks are going to go because they are in the plans – layout ahead of time & frame accordingly….

  12. @Notjohn452

Sorry homie plumbing code. Secondly plumbers do box anything out that's the framers job

  13. @DZ_Sparty

Oh man seen this on a house I was installing insulation, but it wasn’t notched. They cut it completely out for their pipe. It had such a sag not even touching floor

  14. @Mr_blue_7777

Yer it would be the first time seeing a plumber with a nail gun and framing tools in his van 😂

  15. @danablanche6887

Uhhh yeah, you put a joist where my fixture goes it’s up to you to either figure out a new spot for the fixture, you move the joist, or you repair the joist that I have to cut.

  16. @fuffoon

Where I live, plumbers don't frame. Where I live, nobody does framing. Block and brick. Hard walls. Sprayed on plaster and hand smoothed by human machines that can work 12 hours without pause. Those guys are something. I am lucky to have a pair of Armenian twin brothers that work as subcontractors to the company I call for major work. There is a reason I tip them a day's pay after a week of work. They are tireless. They started learning as children back in Armenia, not to be confused with Albania. Huge difference.

This video creator had no idea who was in the wrong and should stop throwing stones whilst standing in a glass house…..
