I had a $20 budget to pull off a summer BBQ for four with only Dollar Tree Ingredients

I had a $20 budget to pull off a summer BBQ for four, and I grabbed everything from @dollartree! This is perfect for a low-key summer hangout, and yep…I even had a dollar to spare!

Shopping list:
Hot Dogs (1 pack, classic, chicken or turkey) $1.25
Hot Dog Buns $1.50
Hot Dog Chili $1.25
Cheddar Cheese $1.25
2 cans baked beans $2.50
2 cans corn $2.50
Mayonnaise $1.25
Cilantro Lime Seasoning $1.25
Parmesan Cheese $1.25
Pasta Salad Mix (Creamy Parmesan or Bacon & Ranch) $1.25
Black olives $1.25
Marinated Red Pepper Strips $1.25

Total cost $19!

I turned it all into chili cheese dogs, baked beans, Elote-style corn salad, and a pasta salad with extra mix-ins, a full summer spread from just one cart.

Stay tuned for the full recipes in my next video.

  1. Go about your happy low budget life.

Not everyone lives around the corner from a Dollar store as you do.

When push comes to shove in a tough economy, your daily thrift store shoppers are gonna turn into a soup kitchen line on the sides of a Trump idea of a perfect America, which he REALLY doesn’t understand where his, and others food comes from.

But I know were it comes from, and you and Trump are gonna starve…..

  2. You cannot beat chili cheese dogs! My neighbor just made some (we split the cost of ingredients) and they were SO yummy!

  3. Some of that stuff is cheaper at Walmart, Family or Dillar General – if they're around the area.

  4. I'm guessing you don't have a Rulers which is the Kroger outlet store. Those same hotdogs and buns are $.69 each.

  5. "hey im hosting a cook out today"
"sounds great where are you getting the stuff from?"
    "dollar tree!"
"uh so uhhh something came up"

  6. Geez!! You are a genius!! I love all your amazing ideas!!! They are all fire!!! ❤❤

  7. That extra dollar would have been great to briten up that that dish of baked beans with a bunch of scallions sprinkled over the top but it definitely looks like a win in my book. Keep cooking hun!

  8. I love that pasta salad flavor. I just make it as is and sometimes toss in tomato but I like your olive version.

  9. I may only speak for 1 or 2 other ppl here but you are always welcome to come cook at my house lol 😆

  10. Looks so delicious. Nice job keeping in budget. I’m curious as to how the corn was made for this summer time meals. Looking forward to seeing the recipe….

  11. I came here ready to take down any haters that found their sneaky way to a Rebecca reel, but I was happy to see they stayed under their bridge. Whew! We would ride at dawn for you, Rebecca!

  12. You’re always making videos about budget friendly meals for those who can’t afford much but what about the children of Gaza? Why don’t you ever even bring awareness to their starvation and struggles? Bizarre.

  13. That looks amazing! I would never have come up with all of that, all for less than $20.

  14. Big looks like he took some X. No funny stuff going on. Just high and feeling good. 90’s were good for that without fentanyl like today

  15. I see people who have never heard of the story of Stone Soup. ❤️
