I Made a Quilt Without Cutting or Trimming (And it’s one of my favorites!)

Today I piece together a quilt without using a rotary cutter. It’s a beginner-friendly quilting challenge that turned into something surprisingly beautiful.

If you love creative quilting ideas, this video is for you!

  3. @SuzanneStutzle

Oh well, if it's cat approved I must get some of that backing. haha. I love this quilt. What a great idea.

  4. @margiehowe2558

I could not find where to buy the synthetic wool in a large piece for the backing. Can you let me know where to buy it?

  5. @debramcfarland9975

Love this! What size does it turn out to be, and how much backing fabric does it take?

  6. @buchmansrus

Hi Sandy, what was the finished size? Just seen this. I'm sure I missed alot of your videos, but I've been sick and in the process of moving for the last time

Hi Sandy, I am not a fan of really bright colors, but your quilt is very pretty. Thanks for sharing

Your quilt turned out so cute, so simple. I watched last week but forgot to
comment so I'll do that now, I think that was the biggest quilt I have seen
you do and it was stunning, good job! Happy Quilting!

I used a very similar method to make my granddaughter a quilt. It had 2 jungle themed charm squares by Stacey Iset Hue in the centre, I added light lilac in a mottled print that read as a solid. I just kept adding rows alternating the charm squares and the lilac strips. It turned out beautifully. Very effective!

I myself am allergic to wool and nylon threads. Any substitutions you can recommend for a new quilt maker? I've sewn for the past 50years hun.❤😂love your videos

Love your videos, Sandy! I have a Singer Patchwork, and the little cover for the feed dogs does seem weird, haha. I began to use a quilt as you go method for my projects, and I found this keeps the quilting part fun!
