I Tried Towing 10,000 pounds with a Ford F-150 Lightning – MAXED OUT!

Yeah Electric Trucks are fun – but can they DO stuff? Today we find out how far the Ford F-150 Lightning can tow its MAX payload of 10,000lbs. Huge thanks to Weigh Safe for sponsoring this video: https://www.weigh-safe.com/jre150 And thanks to Ford for letting me borrow the F-150 Lightning. Sorry for going over the max capacity – i dont count good.

  1. It's mad at what you guys can tow, in the UK it's 3.5 ton on a standard licence after that I assume we need a taco.

  2. Pulled my 5500lb trailer with my dad's 16 f150 2.7. Towed it 180 miles to the track, towed it back, and still had 100 more miles if not more of range…..man I love gas ????

  3. Here's a question.
Will the Cybertruck have the Semi mechanical disengagement on the drive system?
I think yes….. and that will change the game.

  4. The best kind of comparison test is one where the conditions are different…..yeah.

  5. I live in north ga and let me tell ya. I haven't seen the first charging station.

  6. I have a test for the electric trucks
Tow again from nyc to Florida one with ford lightning and a ford 8 cylinders gas truck
2 drivers in each truck nonstop only to fuel and quick bathroom break who will get thier first.
This makes a difference with tractor trailers because time / miles is money dont get paid for charging

  7. I live in Europe and I consider that towing range to be bad, regrettable, not recommended for towing

  8. I want to see same test 15 years later and 250k miles on the dash how it had effected the range
