I compared the ingredient lists of a $4 yogurt and $1 yogurt, found that the $4 one contained heavy cream as the second main ingredient besides milk. And the $1 yogurt used food starch and lots of food additives to create the creamy texture. So I tried to use cream as a comparison group, and it did make the yogurt taste richer and creamier. So this recipe is so you never have to buy Greek yogurt again, but you need to buy Greek yogurt to make it, but then you can just save some Greek yogurt to make more Greek yogurt. Infinite Greek yogurt glitch
