pro tip – costco $5 rotisserie, pull the breast meat for other use- make stock with ty rest. also how about mirapoix in that stock my guy jfc
this is a well made video, good job. you have come a long way from when i originally saw your channels years ago what was it brothers green…
No, what you're saying is you're making more stock than you consume and the cure to that is more efficient storage rather than reducing the amount you're making or using more
I live in a small town and my local store takes advantage of its customers.
They even sell whole chickens for double the price of their chicken breast.
They dont want customers to go home and do this themselves.
Why don’t you reduce your stock immediately anyway? (Actual question, not being sassy ❤)
This is insane.
Yeah whole chicken has less usable meat than chicken breast by weight. Then it cost more for the whole chicken than the breast/thigh pack. You get bone from the entire chicken tho.
Yup great method but maybe you're ready for canning, no freezer room taken up or nutrition lost from freezing❤
Man cooking wings and not eating them is crazy
I cannot believe I've made stock for over 30 years and never thought of this. The facepalm is real. (I also usually had plenty freezer space, but now, there's half a beef in there lol)
You can can it too
So much wastage of cooking gas just to prepare this broth
Tldr: reduce stock by 90% – it then takes up 90% less space
Do you eat your own chickens or are they just egg laying pets?
Can you use something Else than a pressure cooker because i don’t have one and i really want to make it i love your videos keep up the Good work😊❤😋
Yes, so smart!!! Thanks!
Honestly it seems like too much hassle to reduce down chicken stock. Especially when you've got so much of it. Don't get me wrong, definitely make stock, but I'd rather use better than bouillon than heat up my house reducing for hours
Dude, you Americans and your ABSURDELY large freezers… Your freezer is as big as my whole refrigerator…
When I go to the store, an uncooked whole chicken is $15. But I can get an entire cooked rotisserie for $8-$10. Less if I fell like driving to Sams
Uh yeah I'll have the super stew please… 😅
