I have to have my couch like this, everything but the art is low down (not because i know anything about feng shui, it just felt better that way lol) – gonna keep an eye out for some bigger/lower porportioned art, thanks for the tip!

Feng shui is so freakin cool. I studied with the Feng Shui Research Center in Toronto. I treasure my Feng shui eyes.

That looks nice and all, but where are we supposed to put all the stuff that used to be stored up there? 😅

Have this problem at work, I mounted mirrors to my monitor. When someone is behind me staring, I stare right back.

Lmao “tv up high like a betting shop” why do people mount tvs so high?? They should be roughly at face hight when sitting!!

No matter what i will never put my couch not agaisnt a wall, if i do that the door better still be seen from siting there. Never behind it. Id never do this layout ever. When i have space behind the chair or couches i sit behind and not a wall i feel when people walk behind me. And it is nto only distracting but spikes my anxiety especially if i dont know who it could be walking behind me. Im sure its similar to what people with ptsd experience, except for me its my sensitivity to the aura, air, and scent of people around me so perhaps my autism. I have certain spots that I feel safer in, all of them are with a wall behind me, or even better a corner cause that feels like walls hugging me which i find cozy, and bed even is agaisnt walk corners. Allways all of these spots face the door. Idk how id sleep without a wall corner for the bed. Truely. Id be anxious without those walls. If someone walks into my room when I'm half asleep I can feel it if they are walking towards me. Its creepy and disruptive to my sleep. I hate that. I can even hear if they open my door a tiny crack. Same for my cat. Lol he wakes me up just walking through the door when he pushes it open.

I wish I could send a picture of my living room to this guy and have him tell me how to lay it out.
