El Cook sacrificed his kitchen to show us how to stay safe from fires 😢🥲
No one has a lid
Ah, you thought I wouldn’t see that subtle foreshadowing! You underestimate my skills of perception!
This is why I have a fire blanket in my kitchen! Best $10 I ever spent!
When using a fire extinguisher, shoot in burst mode instead of full auto and always aim for the center of hazard instead of the flames. Thank you for sacrificing your kitchen for this PSA 😔
What do I do if there’s a water in my house?
Great content from this guy just sayin
please only use CO2 fire extinguishers as a first instance, and only resort to the ABC(powder) variant if the CO2 doesn't work
in many cases, the powder will cause as much or even more damage than if you let the fire go out by itself
I've heard baking soda works too. NEVER use flour.
Bursting crackers❎ Bursting Gand✅😂🤩
Yeah…. I'm going with the lid method. I'm not making mess 😂
I'll rather not cook
Happened to my mom this year. She called me crying while I was at work and I got there as soon as I could. She had been cooking with oil as usual, gotten a important phonecall and left the stove. Firealarm goea off and she runs for the kitchen, the flames are high from the pan. She managed to throw the pan in the sink while smothering it with some cloth of sorts.
Luckily she didn't add water to the flame. She got away with some burns on her hands, that was just the visual wounds. Now she's really worried about cooking and blames herself superhard. I told her that without her quickthinking she could have lost way more than she did. Insurance covered everything and her kitchen is all good again.
