  1. absolutely hated the design direction this company has taken since the passing of Mr. de la Renta. i still feel like Adam Lippes should've inherited the collection…since he learned how to design at Oscar's knee. not every young designer is going to have the same affect of a Tom Ford (Gucci), Marc Jacobs (Louis Vuitton), John Galliano (Givenchy & Dior), or Alexander McQueen (Givenchy) on a label…in a good way. i mean, look at Julien MacDonald (Givenchy), Raf Simmons (Dior & Calvin Klein), and Wes Gordon (Carolina Herrera) –just the worse. these 2 designers (and clearly the company as a whole) have gone after the younger customers so much so that they alienated the core established customer Oscar and his label already had. that 1st collection after Oscar's passing looked nothing like the brand–totally unrecognizable. i don't know what sales are like for the company, but if these two are actually making this company money…then more power to them.

  2. Omg I can't believe I teared up at the end! Great to see the brand is in such good hands with these two who have such strong talent and vision with respect for the man who preceded them. Oscar would be so proud!!

  3. Thank god you guys are on charge of the creative department. The legacy of Oscar still alive with you guys !!
